Leeuwarden and Friesland are beautiful and fun areas to live and work. There is lots of culture, nature, and history here. However, an international community and international friendly activities are sometimes hard to find.
Thats why Frint was born!
One easy-to-reach place that has information about international friendly meetups and events. A great way to meet new people, explore new hobbies, and connect with people from around the world. Put down your roots with us.
Welcome, Frint!
Frint is run by a group of internationals who want to help grow and sustain a community for internationals in Leeuwarden.
Together, we try to make sure there are meetups and events going on. We also help moderate an Internationals in Friesland Whatsapp Community, Instagram, and Facebook page to help connect internationals.
Meetups listed on Frint are hosted by some of those very same internationals! They host the events on their own time to help our community.
These Meetups are often free, but occassionally the hosting volunteer may charge for an event to cover expenses, materials, or reservations.
All prices will be clearly noted on the event page.
As Frint grows, we hope to be able to also list other English friendly events happening around Leeuwarden that are easy for internationals to join, so keep an eye open for that!
We have many fun and exciting plans for Frint in the future!

It is recommend to join the general group at least as most broad information will be posted there. We also recommend the Events and Meetups group.
